Trust me, we are trying to get the spec reduced. We pointed out to the state engineers that even the dish manufacturers did not have a mast rated above 110 MPH. Their reply, build one, so we sent it out to the engineers, we got back a 3 inch mast with a 2X2 baseplate with 12 5/8th mounting holes for bolts and 4 12 inch gussets around the base of the pole. Damn mounts alone weigh over 100 lbs. What a pain in the a**. But on the other hand, we followed their rules, no matter how lame or stupid we thought. I will try to load a picture later today of our last job in pensacola.
