Actually the way these companies are operating they should be paying your taxes, because they treat you like a employee. Look up the rules governing the 1099 IRS contractor. Most these companies fail under that ruling and will be doing alot of explaining. They are only in this business for a quick buck. We end up loosing every year because we supply part, knowledge to do the job, and now more and more we doing their part of the pw and then have to carry the old parts back home so they can get richer and not pay us anyuthing for doing it and call it part of the job. If the IRS gets involved they will only investigate the job you do under their (the company you work for) rules of duty (what they have you doing as a contractor). It will prove out you are a employee then guess who owes the IRS then? And watch these thieves scatter!
