Depends on how far north I am. I have a set of CarHart bibs and jacket that does a good job. I also have a set of insulated Boots. If your feet get cold, your done. Wool socks help. It all depends on how cold it is. I have found the Mechanic's gloves to be the best for this job. They take a bit to get used to, but they are very formfitting. I have also used Nitrile gloves, like auto mechanics use to keep their hands clean. They do a decent job of keeping the cold wind off or snow from touching your skin. They won't keep your hands very warm but its better than nothing.
