I need to measure the loss/gain coming out of modulators and amps for a cable distribution system. The system has a single cable with multiple taps and splitters branching off to TV sets. I also need to measure at the tv connection points to make sure the is enough strength for the pilot carrier signal.
Which is the best type of meter to accomplish this?
