We switched out a patch panel in our head end to 3m sc/upc (apc would have been better for video) hot melt connectors. Works good. Before that we had fc apc connectors and no matter what couplers we used it was bad. Like someone else posted if the head end door was opened or something got bumped we had an area outage on a node. Glad most of that stuff is gone now.
