Our head end was full of mechanical connectors and they were a pain in the a$$. The wind from the door opening would cause them to create problems, much less having to work on 1 in the patch panel left you with 4 other nodes to work on after you figured out you created another problem.
Was a constant issue. We replaced them all with factory and new jumpers and man it is nice.
