Iv done both... contract and was employed as a bbt3 at charter. When i contracted i made GOOD money, but for some reason always had it in the back of my head that the employees had it better... then i was hired by charter in nebraska... lol... what a joke! unless you like lots of heath care (im single with no kids and not married). My personal experience with charter was lousy! very disorganized. the bureaucracy drove me nuts... so did the politics. reminded me too much of high school. Needless to say im going back into contracting. more freedom, more money.
