DTV customers switch to Cable within days after a

Ok so today I did my 4th install in a month where the cust. was promised something (usually a few local channels) and and were beyond upset with DTV. So my question is how does that work?? Does the tech still get paid for their install? Ughh I feel bad to tear up somebodys hard work but I gotta eat ya know..  Maybe its just this part of FL.. anybody else experience this in your areas?
