Adrian, I am a dish installer and my opinion is satellite installs are okay if you can land a contract with a company that pays 80/20/20/20 and 45 for service calls. If you are lucky enough to find that kind of pay and they can give you a minimum of 2 new connects (new connects are usually 2-4 tv's) and 2 service calls per day 6 days a week you could scratch out a decent living depending on you living expenses, your operating expenses (fuel, install materials, and insurances) will cost you about 200 per week if you are a good tech. good tech meaning you will do it right the first time and bring all your service calls up to code.
