I was also ask by another cable operator to show a group of TRUNK tech how to use the 860DSPi from Trilithic properly. I no sooner start telling them what the meter is capable of, one of the tech in the back tell me, this meter is shit..... I asked him why, he did not know but he was sure it was a bad meter.
The next day, in the field with the same tech, I asked him to check the MER and BER on channel 7, knowing this channel was analog, you should seen the lies this guy was telling me and that we was right when he mentionned the previous day that this meter is no good. You should also seen his face when I told him he was trying to measure MER and BER on a analog channel. When I ask him what was is salary, he was very proud to tell me he was getting $ 54.84 an hour.
I cried that day.
