Re: Frequency Range?

Each MSO determines it's own ranges.  From my experiance in the industry, most have anywhere from one to four specific channels in the 500-700Mhz range and/or another one to four in the 700-800Mhz range.

Return paths are normally one to six channels in the 25Mhz to 40Mhz range.

If your system is running without channel bonding, then the cable modem is only using one of each.  Docsis 3.0 uses channel bonding for those high data rates.  Through the technology today, they are using either two or four channels of downstream syncronized to carry data to the modem and only one channel of upstream, SOME ...but not all ....might be co-bonding two channels of upstream to allow for uber-fast uploads.  Expect to pay a premium internet price if your running 50Meg service or faster.

Now that you have the info.... Why are you asking?  What is your plan with all this new info?
