 Yes they are but they survive on capitalist services of their banking industry. Without the support of the US they'd be in a mess and probably are headed that way now with the current financial crisis.

 Speaking of finanancial crisis one might be aware that history has shown whenever the world gets in this type situation world war breaks out. Were on the road to that now.....one little spark....Korea....Iran....Georgia...China/Tiawan/India/Pakistan and boom we wont be worrying about health care.
