Not if you are driving your personal vehicle they aren't. Those taxes on the gas and tires and registration are on you and only you if you own your own vehicle. Not socialism. And much of what we receive in Alaska is shipped by boat or plane and not much road at all. Too many taxes anyway. They want more and more. Soon we won't be paid to work. We will be given whatever crappy house they choose and we will hit the bread lines like the USSR did. It didn't work there. It won't work here.
