being angry and unreasonable or insulting others doesnt make you an independent thinker. the world is full of people who hate because they were taught to by someone. the taliban are a good example.... hitler and his regime...countries with civil wars...
most laws have some eventual threat of jail if you dont follow them and there is plenty of liberty and freedom involved with that. you do have 1 point though, some businesses are allowed to self-insure on auto insurance if they post a large bond and many companies self-insure on health care but use insurance companies to administrate them.

remember prohibition? an amendment to the constitution. never forget that enough people with a common belief can change what is right or wrong in this country. when you start seeing talks of amendments to the constitution then your conspiracy theories start to have some validity.
