Anytime the insurance companies don't pay for something and I have to pay cash outta my pocket for .....here's a little tip for you: Tell the billing clerk you are only to pay the Medi-Care/Medicade rate. You are allowed, by law ...to only pay the amount they would bill the gov't for if you are paying cash-out-of-pocket for any medical treatment. The medical field cannot refuse it. They cannot charge you more simply because you are paying for services out of your pocket. Most offices will try and charge you the same hyper-inflated rate they charge insurance companys. Shut'em down by not paying more than what they would bill MediCare/MediCade.
