I was working in Phoenix, and another contractor, I didn't know, had an le on a pole he couldn't reach by hooks and was too tall to get with his ladder. The sweep manager, a guy named Tony ( a good project manager I found), who worked for one of the primes on the job asked me if I would go help him since I have a 42 ft bucket truck. None of the in house guys of that company would help. None. It took a sub to do it. So I went over and let the guy use my truck to splice a new le in and make sure the sweep was good. I didn't get paid nor did I ask for it. I was helping someone who needed help when the in house guys wouldn't. I made a new friend. That was cool enough for me.
