So sorry for your loss and your pain. I am watching my dog get older by the day. I usually see him in my room with me or upstairs and when I turned and he wasn't by me at the computer, I looked up stairs, he wasn't there. I went to my room and as I passed the stairs that went down to the door and the lower level, there he was, laying there by the door. He couldn't get up. The floor was too slippery and he didn't have the strength to keep his legs from spreading when trying to get up. I had to go pick him up and get him upstairs. We got him rubber booties so he could get up easier. But it is only a matter of time now. So I will pass this on again to you. I know you are sad. So am I. The next couple of days won't be easy. Nothing I or anyone can say either. You have our sympathies.
