audioswami, as long as it works for you, that is ultimately what matters. But in a commercial application, the cut 4 bay UHF antenna is the most solid and reliable route to go for a tower mounted application. And it just so happens to be the best route to go for the consumer application as well.

I bought one 3 or 4 years ago. But then they were $25 w/free shipping. A bigger piece of plastic shit there isn't. Copper braided un-shielded cable, crappy TX and RX, the motor for the 'rotor' is smaller than a Tyco slot car motor that burns out/freezes. The thing is about as weather proof as a box of Kleenex.
