You are correct, the lure of "come be an employee", is very deceiving, you spend a lot of time doing nothing, and at the mercy of others. All they have really done is satisfy the DOL requirements. The OT is ridiculous, how many jobs do you knwo where you make less than $5.00 an hour for OT (1/2 time), and most of it is spent driving to homes that cancel their appointment. If you were in the CWA or IBEW and you were out working from 7:00am until 9:00pm, 6 days a week, your OT would be healthy.
