scooter i don't think it will put any good techs out of a job, because the cable companies have to much pull with the state, county politicians and not to mention money. however it would put the job in prospective. The cable techs would be in better shape, because the cable companies are already doing in house, they would just have to hire more techs until the primes got their lv lic. However, sat techs would have to get their lv lic because drs, dis, and who ever else, would not want to spend for the workmans comp and liability ins that you would have to have just to activate the lv lic.
