I would choose employee. I would make a little less money, but I would make money not loose money. I have done the numbers. Plus keeper brought up a good point, social security benefits, employer liability and workmans comp ins if you get hurt on the job, and you will be working under an lv lic. I love being a contractor, but a tech job is not one where I like to play as a contractor/sub, but I do it becasue that's what I am. I actually believe that this has become a marketing game. They make techs believe they are going to make lots of money with their ads, and we don't see the real expenses and losses on that same ad. Dish, DTV and Cable advertise for techs like they do for new customers, suck you in and then your stuck. my opinion.
