I had seen it so many times before but never thought it would happen to me. About a month and a half ago after working for Cablenet for 4 years I was promoted to Asset Mgr. They trained me, congratulated me on my success and put me into the position. I was doing well, got to the job early and left late performing every task or duty they put in front of me. However, last week my "boss" messed up and was demoted into my position. They told me that it was restructuring and that they didn't really mean to hire me in the first place. I was told I could leave or go back to being a technician. Because someone else scewed up I lost my job and was not offered any type of compensation. Cablenet has no loyalties to their employees.
