you gotta have a big pot and a burner, preferably gas cause its hotter. Peanuts must be green, dried peanuts won't work. Its real late so you may not be able to find them now, but you can check with your local farmers market and maybe they have some. Oh and lots of salt, the more water the more salt. bring water and salt to a boil add peanuts and down some beers cause it takes a while....couple of hours, you have to keep checking to see if the hulls are sofened up and the nuts are nice and soft, not mushy. If you did it right they will be delicious and salted just right, I like them warm but to each his own there. Some grocery stores carry canned goobers, I've found them not to be bad but under cooked so I throw them in a pot add some water and salt and let them finish cooking...
