I agree 100% if your in the field.. learn the job at hand... in a worse case.. take the DTV ka/ku cert course. OR.. read the friggen book that comes in the dish box. unless you buy a 750$$ meter you wont peak the 103 or the 99. Make sure the mast is level.. skew is set right and peak the 101. its not hard.. the error your getting ISNT FROM NOT PEAKING THE DISH CORRECTLY. Its the software on these receivers. Do your install.. and force download after you get it all hooked up.. BEFORE you activate. when the download is complete you will have all the birds providing you did your install correctly. THIS IS ESPECIALLY IMPORTANT on the SWM Switches. And for those that dont know how to force d/l software on DTV receivers.. google is your friend.
