Re: What Are The Rules Of Climbing/Gaffing A Lamin

yea Mark you can't fix stupid, I would call the power company, you just might be able to get a bounty, hell you might even be able to pick up a contract after the power company runs the stupid F*^&s out and force them into bankruptcy, the 1st time I seen the Glue Lam poles, I thought it was some kind of a Deco Design because they were in a new updated part of KCMO but when I talked to a Power supervisor he told me that they was designed to withstand the ambient and weather temp changes, they don't absorb moisture from the rain and humidity and so when it freezes outside the inside of the pole don't and they don't expand, and when it is 100+ outside they don't dry out so you don't have the old tree barking effect that you get from pressure treated poles and the old creosote poles and they will last for 100 years, they will stand up to a 150mph+ wind and heavy ice loads, they were nice In KCMO I worked many of 400 & 500 foot spans on them , I sure would hate to be on the receiving end of the power company audit or inspection, because there are going to be $millions$ in back charges and more head's then you can find at a Barbie factory will roll after the power company sees that their $200.00 a foot pole has been mutilated by stupid people

hopefully you are not working for one of the companies that allow the gaffing of them because you might be out of a job, when they run your boss off
you need to take a Baseball bat to the head of the ones that are not listening but if it is over 65 poles it is past to late
