Good post except that if someone is born abroad, you still have to file for natural citizenship. You will be considered a natural U.S. citizen but not until you apply for it. Why? Because my parents had to do it for my brother and my dad was in the military so even that didn't make it automatic.
I would like to look for more info on felons being president since they lose their rights once convicted.

The only requirements for presidency of the U.S.:
1. Being a natural born citizen of the U.S.
2. Being at least 35 years of age.
3. Being a permanent resident of the U.S. for at least 14 years.
Article I of the U.S. Constitution gives the Senate the power to disqualify persons who have been impeached from holding federal office. However, there is no mention of the simple state of being a "felon" disqualifying a person from being elected President.
Apparently there are examples of felons that have run for president. One I found quickly was Lyndon Larouche.

Article 2 Section 1 outlines the requirements for president, they are as above. There is no prohibition from a felon running for or holding the office.
