That is exactly my position. I have found a reseller that pays for sales and installations. That the only way I fool with Directv installations.
I too have a $30.00 from the hock shop color tv and an old Hughes receiver...I like the loud meter. I hit 101 and adjust 103c & 99c.
I have found that the HSP and their subcontractors are just deceptive crooks and I will not work with them. I do ok just fixing the perpetual parade of screwed up installations. I also get work from a few Home Theater companies who will not let the HSPs touch their work. They write this into their installation contracts.
No ridicule here.
Why do a lot of installations? Is there any chance of getting paid?
