I judge how far south I am by the length of time it takes them to pour a cup of dunkin donuts coffee. It starts getting into the minutes about 30 miles south of Richmond. Past the carolinas forget it- it takes 3 people 2 tries and it comes out wrong. Then they look at the cash machine readout 4 or 5 times to make your change. I'm always amused when I visit back in Beantown (thats Boston by the way, not El-Paso) and its ordered in abbreviations and basically thrown at you!
