As a private vehicle I get paid peice work, but still keep track of hours. They have production hours and non-production hours. I keep track of time on the job and drive time. Charge for both. I.E. one day may be 6 hours of production time and 2 hours of drive time. Drive time is $8 an hour plus if I go over 30 miles I charge for mileage. Anything over 40 hours is overtime. I.E 5 days worked and do $1000 in production equals $25 an hour..if you have 4 hours of overtime they pay you an additional $12.50 an hour for the 4 hours.
