Ask for it in writing...then sign the paper that you reject that portion of the contract...prepare to quit and sue them or at least walk away.
I got the exact same thing from Emerald Cabling and Satellite in Baltimore. It wasn't in the contract but a phone wonk said "you do know...?
I called back and rejected all my work for the day until that concept was removed from the contract.
Still had to sue....have a $4000.00 judgment...can't find their money.
Just walk away
