As I wrote, and maybe you didn't read:
Yeah. I wasn't going to mention the cold water as it is generally a no no everywhere these days since everything is PVC now. But it is still a valid method on the older homes. And I was following the phone guys lead. No sharp bends, just straight down and a gentle radius to the spicket. And 99.9% of the time, if phone does something in a house, it is good to go. They are hourly union guys. They take the time to make sure it is right.
But in all reality it is a moot point due to the ground wire being 90'd right out of the house box. So no matter the method, it will be an inadequate ground and should have failed QC.
