Dude, I have been doing this shit for more than 25 years.. Mostly contracting.. But I  got hurt on the job, and was offered a inhouse position with good bennies.. Still doing the same shit (Construction) just without a crew.. I haven't done speedlashing in a long time.. And I dont know too many here on the bar who has climbed as many poles as I have, nor have done what I have done off of hooks... Don't be so quick to judge someone you know nothing about.. I am a Lineman.. If you knew me, we wouldn't be having this conversation..
