I'm going with pretty stupid. I wonder if they at least jailed the other guy as well for public exposure and lewd and lascivious  behavior? And in their defense.......the guy has no right to beat the man up. He wasn't defending himself of or his wife and should have let the cops handle it from the beginning. If I would have beaten him, I would have said, "I went out to tell the guy to get off my property and he attacked me with his pants down....you know....tried to rape me so I defended my self. That's why he is laying there like that." Then he would not have gone to jail and the other guy would have. Gotta be smart about these things.
