Based on the image you've discribed by piecing together the language puzzle you've tossed us ... I'd say you are an employee and not a 1099-subcontractor.
If you are a 1099-sub ... then you need to contact the US Dept. of Labor - Wage & Hour Division as you are misclassified based on the company's actions.
If you are an employee of the company, there is nothing illegal about installing cameras with audio. The only place while at work where personal privacy is expected is in the bathroom stall. Not the whole bathroom, but just the stall you're crapping in. Everywhere else at work is company controlled space and subject to supervision by any means. I don't know of any business that have cameras in employee bathrooms, but if they put them in the trucks/vans, warehouse area, smoking area, and office area ... nothing you can do other than quit.
