Open borders cannot work. Because everyone will just come to this country. And then it will explode with people who cannot work, don't have a place to live, no food to eat and no way to pay for their illness or injuries. The people of the U.S. cannot support the amount of people that would come here. If anyone believes that the borders should open maybe they can look at it like this, open your house to all that would come and live in it. Tell them they can work if they can find work. Then feed them, pay for their clothes, rent, heat, cable and health care and let these people be from the street, which is what it amounts to, and see how long you can afford to do it. You big heart will lose everything when they stop getting fed and taken care of. It is a simple fact of economics and room. There isn't enough to support either one with open borders. This isn't just Mexico that comes here. Simple logic and economics and I agree with G on this one. All the way.
