Depends on what type of cable work you will be doing. Most MSO's require installers to perform DOCSIS testing for their high speed internet and voip services. DSAM meters by JDSU have this ability to test that, but they are a little pricey. Sunrise Telecom CM-500ip and CM-1000ip also have DOCSIS testing capabilities and are a little less expensive.
