Met Joe the Plumber for a couple minutes after he spoke. He's exactly what you'd expect, just a plumber except with a new mission in life. About 750 people showed up (my estimate as there was no media coverage that I saw anyway) It was a good message by all the speakers and to my surprise when the question was posed as to who considered themselves Democrats it was probably about 40-50%. I think this idea is starting to take root.
The only problem I have with it is that I don't fall in line with our local rep. 100% but the one running against him is way out of step with my point of view, so how does one vote against his principles. Other than that I'm behind this idea.
