Re: Are You A Independent Contrator Or Employee?

I am filing with workmans comp on any company that does not give you a specific contract. They cannot just tell you this is the way it is. That is why they put people in charge that doesn't know what a 1099 contractor is so they can bluff you. They fill their pockets on your stupidity and desperatness. They keep you down financial and steal from you constantly. Back charges are illegal unless you are given itemized invoice stating why and a chance to correct the problem 1st. They cannot manage your time by telling you be here be there at a certain time, They cannot tell you you cant work for anyone else because you are working for them, They cannot make you go to mandatory meetings. As long as you play their game they will continue to steal your service , time and money. They put their business together in order to go out of business fast and open up again elsewhere under different names or different states. These things have to be noted to the labor board with specifics and with other techs that have some guts to clean this business up. Who they going to get to do the job if you don't? They going to hire employees? I dont think so too much involved for them to do that. But it would be better for you then you would have emplyee rights and people like this won't do that. It is up to the techs to clean up this business by reporting the business to the state they work in. Don't threaten them saying this is illegal...They already know that. You just told them how stupid you are for just finding out. Do not tell them what you know....Just use it! Too many fellow techs and their familes have worked their butts off doing a good job and then these unethical companies steal their earnies and food from their kids mouth. These guys fit the saying "Taking Candy from a Baby"! So if they were standing there and sealing right out of your kids hands would you just stand there and let it happen? If not then why do you let them stand behind all this crap and do it?
