What to do when a sub or primary rips you off.

You must keep copies of all your work orders.

Get the States forms for filing a construction lien on the customers house.

Fill in the blanks.

Send copies of the lein to the customer and the primary and the sub.

In Florida it does not cost unless you have to go to court.

Last company I did this with was Comcast out of Leesburg Florida.  They were using a sub out of Texas that I was getting paid by.  Be sure you include a good phone number for the service provider (Comcast in my case).  When the customer calls them you will get a call from them and they will make their sub pay you.

Guaranteed.
