Presumably, Logic 101 would have taught about false analogies? The total population of a U.S. city has no correlation to a subset group of an occupying force in a war zone. There may have been 2112 firearm deaths to U.S. troops but that is not the total deaths in Iraq, which was probably tens of thousands or more. A more valid comparison would be U.S troops in Iraq to the Police in Washington, DC.
