Some Americans come to Mexico for the culture, others for the cost, from Mexican border town's to beaches.
More and more Americans make their homes in Mexico. Some entered the country with tourist visas and simply overstayed.
That means they are illegal immigrants. Right now the Mexican government is offering them the chance to come forward and fix their status without facing a penalty.
And the Mexican Consulate in El Paso has a pilot program to correct an old problem on the border: fake birth certificates.
Some Mexican parents of U.S.-born children used fake Mexican birth certificates so their children could live and attend school in Mexico, too. The pilot program includes free legal services. tens of thousands of americans are illegal in mexico. More and More are crossing the boarder each and every day. Makes me wonder who is doing all the drugs that the mexicans are producing.
Thousands of Americans cross the border every year in order to save a great deal of money buying prescription drugs. This is a major industry, and total sales to foreigners exceeds two hundred million dollars annually. What is that saying,( clean your own porch off before bitching about your neighbors porch) Millions and millions of americans with out jobs and no jobs to be found. the land of the free.
There are nearly 18 million American children (the number quickly growing) that are currently living in poverty. And these children are going hungry. Two- fifths of the children that die from starvation are under the age of 5. Make no mistake: in the land of plenty, there is much hunger.
