looking for quality and versatility in a used meter look to what the big dogs use trilithic or wave tech aka wandel goldman or sam .
the 1400 1450 or 1700 series these are not made new any more (they changed the buttons and company name still the same otherwise) but are tops for field technical personell.
you can still get repairs and re-calibration. the 1400 shud run used from 200 to 850 this meeter does channel mapping c/n hum limited sweep (other equiptment needed in the head end) can be tied to a diapole ect.. long battery life climbers strap and most are in the protective black canvas field carry case. very durable reliable and long lasting . they read 5 to 1000 mghz. the 1750 reads return in the sub t band.
