i am a student at the Ontario College of Art and Design, and i am looking to do a piece involving commercial detection/insertion. i have researched the topic and found software that recognizes audio compression rates and detects commercials in that manner, however is is not extreemly accurate. i am wondering if it is possible to access the commercial in and out points on a digital cable signal at home?
any help is appriciated.
