The 14 year old mother (that's right, mother) could carry the child to a scant 28 weeks whereas the child could then be delivered and placed in NICU.
Another interesting point you brought up was the commission of rape and the subsequent child that resulted from the act.
Do you support the termination of the pregnancy based on the sole premise of the act that resulted in the pregnancy?
Should then, we execute any offspring of the rapist based on the underlying fact that the father is a rapist? If so, do you propose an age cap on the condemned? 5 years, 3 years? When do you decide that a childs life is to be protected and valuable? 1 year? 6 months? 1 day? 38 weeks of gestation? 1 day after conception?
Who are you to decide if a child lives or dies?
