Re: Read This!!! Here's The Whole Agreement!


If anyone has signed that document and has been working under it's provisions for any length of time, I would recommend you contact the US Department of Labor - Hour & Wage Division for your area as you are probibily owed back wages.  That contract is NOT an "independant contractor" agreement as per the Federal A.B.C. litmus test.  What that document is discribing is an "Employee Agreement" as it pertains to how you do your job, but it saying YOU shoulder all the costs, burdens, and liability of the employer business.

Get a copy of your contract and make the call.  The more people that call from the same shop to the USDoL-H&W contact, the stronger they will be compelled to audit the company your getting your work from.

If you like, you can google a company in California that was brought in line to the tune of about $500k by them .... Pratt Communications (based in CA, but has offices in Las Vegas).  Don't mess with an installer's wages.
