The guy that trained years ago always told me no matter what your doing, from hanging a drop to hanging trunk, cutting a f-connector to splicing fiber, always, always, always do it as if your going to be the guy out there fixing it at 3 AM in the sleet and freezing rain if it fails. I have taken that advice with me and used it over the last 20+ years. I guess it's just a long way of saying do it right the first time and take pride in your work.
