It is probably too late to start but what I have seen that makes sense is to give partial identification numbers during interviews. If it results in a job you can fill in the blanks. Also ask where the applications are kept and who has access to them. Calling the prime contractor from time to time to see hoe active your tech number has been couldn't hurt.
