I would support a player refusing to play for STL, because he is free to do what he pleases with his time and talent, just like I support Rush doing what he pleases with his time and talent.
It's called a free market.
I also support the NFL making a decision based on what they perceive to be in the best interest of their business.
I pointed out the hypocrisy of Goodell and not one person can refute it!
