I hear ya brother. The only way of possibly making a career in this industry is if you go in house and by that I mean MSO in house. No charge backs, they actually pay ot and not as nearly much QCs. In CA a contracting job is considered low level grunt work ie same level as the guy who mows my lawn type of work. there is 0 prestige or respect probably because everyone drives 20 year old beat up mommy mini vans. It's pretty much a labor job not a tech or trade job
