Assuming that you ordered the RC64R or RC64RB remotes from Directv, you shouldn't have any problems progamming them to work on this model receiver. The rf remote antennas are internal on the H21. Here are the steps on how to program them:
Make sure the remote is RF capable (look for FCC sticker on back). Write down the last 6 digits of the receiver's ID.
Setup the receiver for RF:
1. System Setup> Remote> IR/RF Setup>
2. select RF
3. press DONE, the remote will not work after this
Setup the remote for RF:
1. move slider at top of remote to dtv (or av1 or av2)
2. press and hold MUTE & SELECT for two blinks
3. enter 9 6 1
4. press CH UP
5. enter the last 6 digits of the receiver's ID # (see above)
6. press SELECT button
